We are thrilled to announce that Eva Johanna Lepikov has been appointed to the role of Tallinn Music Week’s Executive Producer since the start of this year. Eva has been with the festival in various roles since 2020, most recently as Head of Marketing.

“I have embraced the new role with awe and sincere excitement,” says Eva Johanna. “TMW is very close to my heart and I have gained valuable insight into this organisation and its mechanics from various angles over the past years. I feel connected to the festival’s deep belief in music’s power to make an impact on the world around us. My goal is to keep our festival on the right course in this post-crisis period, focusing on quality, innovation and courage, while valuing both international and local collaborations and sustainability – in every sense of the term. I genuinely love Estonian music, musicians and also our industry. We are lucky to have some of the very coolest people working here. It is a great pleasure and honour to be able to cultivate the ground for these success stories and boost them with our team. Thank you, Helen [Sidna – founder and director of TMW] and the whole TMW team for the trust and for the opportunity to take this leap in such a great company.”

Eva Johanna obtained a BA in music business in Bristol, UK, where she also made her first steps in the music industry. In Estonia, she has also been responsible for the marketing of the Station Narva festival and other projects of Shiftworks; contributed to the production of local festivals Saund and Mägede Hääl, and collaborated with the Estonian Funk Embassy and several independent artists.

The role of the Executive Producer is a new position in the TMW team. It is a long-planned step towards raising the competence of strategic planning and strengthening both the management decisions and the daily work of the whole organisation.

“Eva Johanna has grown organically into this new position over the years,” says Founder & Director of TMW Helen Sildna. “Her dedication, smarts, substance, sensitivity and attention to – both detail and the big picture – together with her love for music and culture, inspires us all to be better versions of ourselves. She has deep know-how of the music industry and an understanding of our organisation’s challenges and opportunities. We are so happy that she has accepted this new position, helping TMW to develop as an organization. We wish you joy and resilience, dear Eva!”

Helen Sildna continues as the Head of Strategy at TMW, Ingrid Kohtla as the Head of Communications & Content and Kertu Süld as the Head of Administration and Sustainability. Taavi Esperk manages TMW’s music programme and Indrek Migur is in charge of the conference programme and hospitality. About a hundred seasonal employees and hundreds of volunteers contribute to the festival.

TMW 2024 takes place in Tallinn from 3 to 7 April. The festival consists of 3 main programme elements: an international music showcase festival, a music industry conference and a city festival.
