Tallinn Music Week 2022 artist applications now open

The 14th edition of the international new music showcase festival Tallinn Music Week (TMW) will take place in Tallinn, Estonia on 4th – 8th May 2022. The submission call for musicians wishing to perform at the upcoming event is open until 19th December 2021 at the TMW website.

As the leading showcase of “tomorrow’s music, arts and ideas” in the Baltic-Nordic region, TMW has been presenting distinctive talent of both its homeland and from across Europe since 2009. 

TMW’s music festival features around 150 artists of various genres and origins to an audience of 15,000 people and to 1,000 music industry players. TMW’s conference offers a programme of inspirational keynotes and strategic discussions and connects artists with industry experts via workshops and mentoring sessions.

Reviews in international media have recognised TMW as an influential event that opens up distinctive talent to wider recognition and audiences. The last edition of the festival that took place from 29th September to 3rd October 2021 has been featured in music and culture publications like The Line of Best Fit, The Quietus, Loud & Quiet, The Clash and The Culture Trip, as well as public broadcasters across Europe.

TMW 2022 welcomes artists from every genre across the globe. All applications will be reviewed by the TMW booking team, which includes representatives of both Estonian and international music organisations and experts in various genres and scenes. A confirmed line-up of 150 – 170 artists will be announced from February to March 2022.

TMW 2022 artist application is open until 23.59 (CET) on 19th December 2021.


TMW 2022 Super Early Bird passes are on sale at the festival’s webshop until 1st November. Festival Pass at 35 euros and PRO Pass at 95 euros are available along with DigiPRO Pass at 35 euros and Supporter Pass at 195 euros.
