Grab is a new alternative rock band emerging from the independent scene in Riga, Latvia. Their first album SVARS conceptualises chaos, chance, fragmentation and disconnection in modern society. Their influences are hyperpop, 90s American alternative rock, Gyorgy Ligeti's research on micropolyphony and contemporary experiments in electronic sound synthesis. Grab consists of experienced members of Riga's indie scene such as Tesa, Catalepsia, Anna Kijeva and others.
