Hands in MotionBE

Ambient, Global, Instrumental

Hands in Motion is like a percussion playground. Darbuka gongs, kalimbas, riqq doholla, bendirs udu - these are just some of the instruments that make up their sound universe. This percussion trio consists of Simon Leleux (Fabrizio Cassol, Refugees for Refugees, Tcha Limberger, Ibrahim Maalouf), Robbe Kieckens (Lamekan Ensemble, Myrddin De Cauter) and Célestin Massot.

Together they create a limitless sonic universe, mixing acoustic percussion and electronic soundscapes. From Senegal to Eastern Europe, from Turkey to India, from the classical conservatory to the nomadic people, Hands in Motion juggles with the codes of tradition to create a new space of expression, resolutely contemporary and innovative.
