Kristjan Kannukene is an Estonian viola player, singer and electric guitarist whose music combines different traditions and aesthetics. He is fascinated by the present moment and the artistic creation born in it.
His background in classical and rock music has opened up many opportunities in Estonia and abroad, ranging from playing Bach's violin concerto on an electric guitar and improvising a rock viola solo in front of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra to collaborating with contemporary dancers and theatre. Sacredness and primitiveness are an important part of his being, the sound of which can be heard on the album "333".
