MörtEE

MÖRT are a crossover metal quintet from Tallinn, Estonia, whose trademarks are catchy guitar riffs, ironic lyrics and jokes that may not look good on paper. In the summer of 2021, they released their debut LP Pangetäis bängereid – 10 fast-paced songs that immerse the listener in Estonian curiosities, surprising situations and ways of life. The album was awarded Best Metal Record at the Estonian Music Awards 2022. In the autumn of 2023, they released their follow-up album Fabulas Vulgaris, with a refreshed direction, but as action-packed as ever, which was also nominated at the Music Awards. Listen at your own risk and in moderate quantities – or you might start to like it!
