The principal conductors of the Tallinn University of Technology Academic Female Choir, which has won several national and international awards, are young and energetic Edmar Tuul and Karin Tuul. The main values of the choir are the preservation and promotion of Estonian women's singing and choral traditions. During the 70 years of operation, the choir has been conducted by 15 different conductors, participated in numerous concerts including all Estonian Song Festivals, the Baltic Student Colleges Festival and the Nordic Student Choir Festival NSSS. The tradition of the choir is to organise choir concerts and share their experiences with girls' choirs to ensure continuity. They’ve prepared a special set for Tallinn Music Week, which will feature timeless Estonian choral classics with updated arrangements.
