TamTam is the vocal and bass duo of Estonian musicians Anett Tamm and Karl Tammaru, who fuse elements of jazz and indie into a minimalist blend with a wild spirit. Making meaningful and genre-defying music without compromising compositional versatility is the duo's main strength, despite the lack of additional rhythmic and harmonic support. Inspired by 70s new wave and progressive pop, TamTam's music combines improvised lyrics, expressive vocals, bass hums and nostalgic grooves. In 2023, TamTam released their hypnotic and evocative debut album Slumber Picture.
