Turntablist and beat maker Dan Peter Parker Baxter was scooped up by Manchester record label boss Mark Rae after finishing 3rd in the 97’ UK DMC Championships. Mark put him to work at Grand Central Records and on his first day he met Sneaky, a double bass and cello maestro. During a short break, Parker & Sneaky jammed together in a way Mark had never heard before and he asked them to do the Rae & Christian's upcoming live shows. Thus, Fingathing was born, and their improvised jams would be bringing crowds to their feet during Rae & Christian's live sets around the world. A record deal followed and together with visual artist Chris Drury, they released 3 LPs to critical acclaim and numerous EP's including releases on Ninja Tune and most recently Tru Thoughts. He is also a member of the Manchester DJ/Radio crew Battlestar Mancunia, 'Flex' with partner Lil' Fee and the drummer of Manchester band The Whip. Peter is currently a member of Team Reloop.
