Divya Bhatia is a versatile and experienced independent artistic director and producer. He is Festival Director of Jodhpur RIFF, India’s leading roots music festival (since 2008). He also regularly presents/ produces international music and theatre projects. He is currently also an advisor/ facilitator at the festival ComplexCity (Mumbai) and is India partner for the International Collaborative Outreach programme for Applied Theatre at RCSSD (UK). He has been a jury member for a number of events/ organisations including the Adelaide Fringe, WOMEX and the Aga Khan Music Awards. As an arts management educator, he was the Asia tutor for the South Asia Festivals Academy (2018-2022) and faculty for financial planning at ARThink South Asia (2010-2020). He has also been a classical tabla player and a stage and film actor.
