Music Industry Relations Manager at In Place of War

Emma is the Music Industry Relations Manager for In Place Of War, a charity that uses music as a tool for positive social change in conflict zones in 26 countries. Emma's main focus for In Place Of War has been to establish, grow and manage the Global Music Industry Advisory Board, which guides and supports the organisation's work through equipment donations, sponsorship and introductions, and now includes representatives from A0K1VERSE, Ableton, Downtown, FUGA, Google, Native Instruments, Pioneer DJ, Red Bull Music, Resident Advisor, Roland, Spotify and Yamaha Guitar.

Although based in London, UK, Emma has a truly global outlook, having lived, worked or contributed to projects in regions such as France, Republic of Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Scandinavia, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. Emma has represented a range of clients including MTV, Universal Music, Midem, and London's iconic Metropolis Studios. She is an advisory board member of London-based creative agency Paradise, whose clients include the BBC, NBC Universal and Pepsico. Emma also works on projects in the wider entertainment industry, including the global TV industry gatherings MIPCOM and MIPTV, eSports and musical theatre, and is a regular radio, podcast and event presenter.
