Francesca Barone is an expert in synch, music rights and the music business. She is currently Content Rights Manager at Dolce & Gabbana after more than 14 years of experience in the music business as Licensing Manager at Universal Music Publishing, Synch Manager and A&R Coordinator at Sony Music Publishing and Music Consultant at Emi Music Publishing. She is a business and music consultant, a lecturer at Italian universities and music schools, and co-founder of Equaly.it, the first Italian organisation to actively promote gender equality in the Italian music industry. Under the name Franca Barone, she has released two albums as a singer-songwriter, composer and producer.
