Girts is the founder and promoter of Positivus Festival, the leading music festival in the Baltics, running already for 15 years. He has worked as a concert and event promoter for 20 years, promoting artists of international scale in Latvia, including Imagine Dragons, Rammstein, Muse, Depeche Mode, Jack White and many others. Girts is also the founder of the 1600-capacity live music venue Palladium Riga.
