Musician and Music Therapist

The Estonian-Swiss artist Ingrid Lukas is a singer, pianist, composer, vocal coach and music therapist. Ingrid began to take piano lessons in jazz and pop music at the age of five. She studied music at the Zurich University of the Arts and holds a Master's degree in Music Therapy from the University of the Arts in Berlin. Ingrid has released an EP and four albums with her band and has given many concerts in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Slovakia, Latvia, the USA and Estonia. As a voice coach, she has been exploring the medium of the voice with her clients for over 18 years. As a music therapist, she works with traumatised patients in a Swiss rehabilitation clinic, guiding them back to a meaningful life. Since 2011 she has won several awards. In 2011 and 2015 she was nominated as the Best Female Artist at the Estonian Music Awards and in 2016 she received a prize from the Popkredit Commission in Zurich.
