
Julian Krohn is the Director of Music & Audio at Germany's most successful creative agency Scholz & Friends and is responsible for the music strategy of VW and McDonalds, among others. Until 2021 he was the Creative Music Director at Jung von Matt for 6 years, where he was responsible for the music strategy of brands like Vodafone, BMW, BOSCH, Douglas, EDEKA and many more. Julian advises companies on music supervision, artist collaborations and licensing, as well as the development and production of successful audiovisual formats. He spent 10 years at Universal Music in a variety of roles, most recently as A&R Manager in the pop division. Prior to that, Julian held roles such as Repertoire Manager at Universal Music Publishing and Song Advisor at Kobalt Music Publishing. As a freelance music supervisor, Julian has supported a number of film productions by and with German acting and directing superstars Matthias Schweighöfer and Til Schweiger. He holds a BA in Music Business from the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and was awarded a scholarship for commercial music at Westminster University in London.
