Miran has been active on the independent music scene in different roles for more than two decades, which gives him broad insight and understanding of the music habitat. In 2004 he founded the record label Moonlee Records, one of the most important labels in ex-Yugoslavia region (Repetitor, KOIKOI, Borghesia, Bernays Propaganda, Žen, Seine, Moveknowledgement…), which later expanded into Moonlee Booking agency.
Miran is also the conference manager of MENT Ljubljana, one of the leading showcase festivals and music conferences in Central and Eastern Europe. He is also a board member of RUNDA – Regional Association of Independent Discographers Balkans. He has participated as speaker at various music conferences like ESNS, AIM London, Sharpe Bratislava, BUSH Budapest, PIN Skopje, etc.
