Duckshell's music transcends styles and is uncompromising due to the Brazilian, Hungarian and Gypsy heritage of the band. Their sound is mainly fed by the music of the South American-Balkan axis, but their unique style is also drawn from all over Eastern Europe. They always blow up the stage with their punk attitude, so it's no wonder they've been welcomed not only in Hungarian clubs and festivals but also in France, Holland, Poland, Bulgaria and Turkey. According to NME magazine, the energetic Duckshell are living proof that South London's jazzy post-rock has found its way east, where it's been given some additional Balkan-influenced pipework.
