nitiated by musician Jonathan Saldanha during his Nyege Nyege residency, HHY & The Kampala Unit embarks on a futuristic exploration into fresh and immersive musical territory. Woven over ghostly and unsettling cinematic passages, the project fuses dub, techno, traditional drumming, and trance elements.

This collaborative venture features the visionary Saldanha on electronics and production, joined by the formidable trumpeter and ghetto activist Florence Lugemwa. Physical in tactility and impact, and highly evocative, the tracks marry cerebral virtuosity, cosmic creativity, raw energy, and visceral sensuality. Cascading electronics and rich, technicolour textures create a majestic sonic landscape of haunting marches, mutating percussive rhythms, variations, and reprises. The result is an infectious musical journey marked by its captivating blend of diverse influences and artistic elements.
