Korrontzi from Basque Country was founded by Agus Barandiaran, a Basque trikitixa-player (diatonic accordion). His aim was to give traditional Basque music a more modern and contemporary face, always from the perspective of music based on the trikitixa. Over the years, Korrontzi have taken their music and dances around the world, playing at the biggest festivals and visiting dozens of countries on different continents. They are about to release their twelfth album on the occasion of their 20th anniversary and have received countless awards and nominations.
