Her intense interpretation is a rare and precious experience for the audience and it is what makes Maria Mazzotta one of the most appreciated voices on the European world music scene. In 2020 she made her solo debut with Amoreamaro, an album that received great feedback from the public and music critics.
She has given over 200 concerts in more than 25 countries across Europe, Latin America and Asia, performing in prestigious venues and festivals from the Theater de Ville in Paris to the National Opera and Ballet in Skopje for the OFFest, from the Womex in Porto to La Fira Mediterrania in Manres, and from the Kulturhaus ORF in Vienna to the Viljandi Folk Festival in Estonia.
