Mr. Dad is an indie pop duo from Helsinki, Finland, consisting of two singer-songwriters, Lionel Burton-Hill (Wilhelm Enckell) and Eugene Farmichaels (HP Siikasaari). They formed in 2022 and immediately achieved cult status in the Helsinki indie music scene. Mr. Dad's music is based on their witty and ironic storytelling, smooth vocal harmonies and catchy melodies. Their nostalgic soundscapes are inspired by the classics of the 70s and 80s and their aim is to make AOR great again, including the sweet disco era. So far, the duo has released ten singles and two remixes. Mr Dad performs with their backing band The Salary Men.
