Tight, loose and evil. Plattenbau's third album Net Prophet, released on Dedstrange on 8th September 2023, finds the band moving deeper into the misty territory of 21st-century excess. The sound is richly varied, from the darkwave pulsing synths of 'Lichtenberg Monologue' to the growling, slow-moving bass of 'A New Dawn', reminiscent of the band's debut record, albeit with a synth instead of a guitar. The band's primary colours are vocals, drums, bass, guitars and synthesisers.
