They are a hearty ensemble of three fiddlers and a guitar who knock your socks off with their exciting and soulful renditions of original and traditional Nordic tunes. The band members, Mikko Malmivaara (guitar), Aino Kinnunen (violin), Olli Sippola (five-string fiddle, mandolin) and Veera Kuisma (five-string fiddle), draw inspiration from the rich roots of Finnish traditional music. Polenta has gained popularity as a captivating dance band thanks to their energetic live performances, which radiate the joy of music and togetherness!
