Ruissalo Amping's music could be described as pretty loud and loudly pretty. The sound of this newly formed Finnish shoegaze group is created by combining romantic rumble, shy vocals and the echoing roar of the world's most wonderful instrument, the electric guitar. Ruissalo Amping released their fascinating and acclaimed debut album Tähtien suojatit Maan povella at the end of 2021. In the summer of 2023, the band returned from their hiatus with a Finnish cover of HIM's "When Love and Death Embrace", released as "Rakkaus kuolemassa elää". Ruissalo Amping is currently waiting for the release of their second album Ruusupuutarha. Based on themes of security and emancipation, the album takes the listener into rosier and more romantic worlds, both more outward and inward than before.
