ONEGINLT

ONEGIN is the alter ego of Lithuanian interdisciplinary artist Karolis Lasys. This character voices the theatre of the absurd through piercing, sludgy, deconstructed rhythms, organic percussion and emotional synthesiser lines. ONEGIN perceives his eclectic, experimental selections and audio-visual live sets as small narratives of nightly, unspoken rituals of the modern day, giving them a soundtrack and a concrete form which transports the listener to neglected spaces of a common subconsciousness.

For ONEGIN, it's important to make people disassociate from rationality, embracing their surroundings, themselves and sound, diving deep within in search of new forms. ONEGIN is also the head of BRKNCRCTS and Broken Teeth Radio — two independent music platforms from Lithuania highlighting alternative underground music and culture, focusing especially on the ritualism inherent to electronic music.
