Andrey KiritchenkoUA

Andrey Kiritchenko (Andriy Kyrychenko) is a Ukrainian experimental music producer, founder of Nexsound Records and NextSound Festival, and a key figure in his homeland’s electronic music scene. Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, he began his career as a rock singer-songwriter before moving into electronic music.

Over the years, he has collaborated with Francisco López, Kim Cascone, Martin Brandlmayr, Jason Kahn and others. His work has been remixed by Andreas Tilliander, Frank Bretschneider, Scanner and more. With over 40 releases on Touched Music, Staalplaat, SPEKK, Flaming Pines, Ad Noiseam, Moatun7 and many others, he was awarded at the Qwartz Electronic Music Awards (2006) and curated Detali Zvuku Festival and Gurkit Magazine. Since 2013, he has directed NextSound Festival, taught Sound Design at Karazin University (2019-2020) and, in 2022, launched the radio show Daydreaming Machine on Resonance FM 104.4, London.
