Hackedepicciotto unites two legendary figures: Danielle de Picciotto, who moved to Berlin in 1987, becoming Space Cowboys' lead singer, Love Parade co-initiator, and Ocean Club collaborator with Gudrun Gut; and Alexander Hacke, founding member and bassist of Einstürzende Neubauten. Married in 2006, the duo has collaborated on countless international projects while releasing their own compositions.
Their intense live shows feature Danielle's mastery of unusual instruments like the hurdy-gurdy, autoharp, and cemence alongside violin and piano, while Alexander commands bass, guitar, and drums. Together, they create beautiful, existential soundscapes that simultaneously roar and vibrate, leaving audiences shaken but overjoyed.
