Free’odde is a fresh project led by Warsaw-based guitarist and composer Jakub Paulski. Created as an anthem of freedom, the band seamlessly blends spontaneous improvisation with intricate and unconventional song structures. While their sound may carry a sense of complexity, it’s best enjoyed with a playful mindset. Featuring some of the most prominent artists from the Polish jazz scene, Free’odde delivers a vibrant spectrum of soundscapes filled with joy and creativity. The sextet released their debut EP in early 2023, followed by bold full-length Free’odde in 2024. They have performed at prestigious Polish concert series on Polish National TV and radio. In 2023, the JP Collective earned 3rd prize at the 8th international 7 Virtual Jazz Club Contest in Italy.
