maria kallastu is a cool breeze of fresh Estonian art-pop with her smooth R'n'B vocals, spiced with dreamy soundscapes and uplifting harmonies. Surrounded by and immersed in different genres of music since childhood, Kallastu has found her footing and means of expression in music production and writing. She feels that producing and singing are equally important to her as an artist. Both allow her to express herself most freely and authentically. As Maria dives deeper into the local music world, her remarkable vocal and production skills are gaining more and more admirers.
She has collaborated with some of the freshest Estonian talents from producer boipepperoni and Karl Killing to rappers säm and margiiela, Maria is also the singer and keyboarder in the psychedelic funk band Kenors. In autumn 2023 Maria released her first EP WHITENOISE.
