Dream pop outfit mariin k. are carving out their own space in the shoegaze revival, led by Mariin Kallikorm's vision of yearning soundscapes wrapped in cascading reverb. Kallikorm brings serious credentials, having toured internationally with trip-hop pioneer Tricky and as part of London-based indie project Wyldest. Their debut album rose skin, released in May 2025 via Seksound, earned a spot on Seattle's influential KEXP and praise from Darla Records.
Joined by guitarist Paul Sild (Badass Yuki), drummer Christofer Nõmm, and bassist Art Ainsoo (both also in grunge band Buzhold), mariin k. synchronise tremolo-drenched dream pop with jangle pop's melodic clarity, exploring love, self-discovery, and vulnerability with both ethereal beauty and emotional substance. Recent highlights include performances at Supersonic's Block Party (France), Live at Heart (Sweden), Reeperbahn Festival (Germany), Ireland Music Week and ESNS.
