Outlet Drift is an experimental trio featuring Wushang Pihay (guitar, jaw harp, synthesizer, percussion, vocals), Putad Pihay (bass, kabosi, tapelik, djembe, vocals), and Linken (drums, percussion, vocals). The band builds on catchy melodies, exploring free improvisation through intense peaks and gentle lulls. Their music draws from aboriginal songs, harvest festival dances, and Amis art and rituals. While each member brings their distinct style, they merge into a unified sound. Alongside modern instruments, they play their own handcrafted ones made from natural materials, deepening their connection to the earth. Each performance becomes unique as they create new musical forms to channel raw emotion.
