Rainer Ild is the kind of artist who treats genres like snack options at a petrol station: grab a bit of everything and see what happens. His third album KAOSS leaps from electronic rap to grindcore electronica to pop and rock, often within the same set. On stage, his band look like ordinary humans but sound like a musical riot: drums explode, guitars howl, the bass tries to keep calm, and the sound engineer pretends to be in charge. Rainer himself is old enough to say and do whatever he wants, yet young enough to get away with it.
