Meet Rute Trochynskyi, the rising star from the Estonian Idol 2023 finals, now captivating audiences with her rock band, RUTE.

RUTE is a vibrant rock band that transforms a shared curiosity and love for life’s complexities into music. Formed while studying together at the Tallinn Music and Ballet School (MUBA), the young musicians share a simple goal: to create music with love. This four-piece group is led by vocalist Rute Trochynskyi, featuring Franz Königswieser on guitar, Alec Aleksejev on bass, and Egert Käesel on drums.

In a world of noise, RUTE acts as an authentic musical lighthouse, proving that a blend of youth and rock is all it takes to create something magical. The band has been active for two years and released their debut album “LOVER” in 2025. They have performed at Tallinn Music Week, R2 minilive, festivals Võnge, Treski Fest, and Rebasemõisa Festival, Estonian National TV and won the 2024 Student Band Competition. RUTE performed at the ESNS Pinguin Radio Showcase Festival in the Netherlands in 2026.
