Sugar Rody is a music producer, DJ and live artist from Tallinn, Estonia. As co-founder of Dark Disko and resident of London's Slimelight and Tunisia's Dark Is The New Disco crew, he crafts a distinctive sound that blends vintage synths, driving basslines, and melancholic vocals. His production style evokes nostalgia, channeling the energy of 80s and 90s club culture. Rody's performances, always charged with unexpected moves and intense energy, are fueled by unreleased material from the darker side of disco. His ability to bridge past and present has attracted tastemaker labels including Ombra International, Ritmo Fatale, IAMT, SetAbout, and Crave Tapes. Rody's work has been featured on Rinse FM France, Raadio 2 Estonia, Ida Helsinki, and other prominent radio stations. His post-punk rave sound has energized clubs across Tallinn, London, Paris, Milan, Riga, Tunis, and Berlin, where he's shared stages with notable DJs.
