Timo Steiner and Sander MölderEE
Timo Steiner and Sander Mölder are prominent Estonian composers whose collaborative efforts have significantly enriched the country's contemporary music and performing arts scene. As part of a creative team called Birdname, they have written music for several dance performances and music theatre pieces, including "Louis XIV – The Sun King" commissioned by the Estonian National Opera, and "The Golden Temple," a modern ballet inspired by Yukio Mishima's novel "The Temple of the Golden Pavilion." Their latest piece "AJU" was commissioned by Leigo Lake Music Festival and performed in collaboration with Dutch electronic music legend Legowelt. TMW, in collaboration with club Hall, brings to the stage the duo's work "Kurat ja Jumal" (Devil and God), inspired by the novella of the same name by Swedish author Mare Kandre.
