Yndling is the dream pop project of Norwegian artist Silje Espevik, which began with quiet demos whispered into a microphone at night to avoid waking her household. Drawing inspiration from artists like Mazzy Star, Beach House, Cocteau Twins, and Men I Trust, she has developed a distinctive sound featuring expansive arrangements built around ethereal vocals. Following her 2022 debut EP, Espevik released her first studio album Mood Booster in 2024 on Spirit Goth, solidifying her signature blend of shoegaze and dream pop.
