TMW 2025 Noblessner Art Tour
Join us for an inspiring art tour through Tallinn’s Noblessner district, where we’ll explore the area’s layered history and visit four contemporary art spaces and their exhibitions: Kai Art Center, Temnikova & Kasela gallery, Tütar gallery, and Punctum gallery. Noblessner’s unique atmosphere is shaped by its striking industrial architecture – a collection of cultural heritage buildings that reflect Estonia’s complex journey of independence, economy, and real estate development.
The tour begins at Kai Art Center, located in a heritage-listed former submarine factory, beautifully restored in 2019. Kai is the heart of the local art scene, offering international exhibitions, film programs, and cultural events. On the ground floor of the same building is Temnikova & Kasela Gallery, established in 2010 and recognized as one of the region’s leading contemporary art galleries, representing both Estonian and international artists. Just next door is Tütar Gallery, opened in 2023, with a focus on showcasing the younger generation of Estonian artists to both local and international audiences. A short walk away, Punctum Gallery, recently celebrating its first anniversary, specializes in contemporary art with an emphasis on photography and presents artists engaged in today’s social and artistic questions.
Galleries included: Kai Art Center, Temnikova & Kasela Gallery, Tütar Gallery, Punctum Gallery.
Starting point: outside, A.J, von Krusenstern square, on the corner of Kai Art Center building (Peetri 12)
