First speakers revealed for the Tallinn Music Week conference

R.E.M. adviser Bertis Downs, Vice President at Wasserman Music Rob Challice, BAFTA-winning music supervisor Kle Savidge and Oscar-campaigning filmmaker Anna Hints revealed among the first speakers for the Tallinn Music Week (TMW) conference.

One of the top music industry gatherings in Europe, TMW will mark its 16th edition in April 2024. The TMW conference hosts the spotlight event for the global gender equality network Keychange and welcomes music and creative industry professionals, companies and delegations from around the world.

TMW is pleased to welcome the first 11 world-class experts from across the spectrum of industry who will deliver keynotes, interviews, valuable insights and deep-dive sessions at the event.

Bertis Downs (US) is an entertainment lawyer who has handled R.E.M.’s career since the band’s formation in Athens, Georgia and is credited as being highly influential in the group’s rise. He has served as a longtime adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law and has taught the Recorded Music part of the Counselling Clients in the Entertainment Industries for the Practising Law Institute seminar.  He has also participated in the Music and Personal Appearance Division of the American Bar Association Forum Committee on the Entertainment and Sports Industries.

Anna Hints (EE) is a film director, scriptwriter and composer who won the directing award in the World Cinema Documentary category at the Sundance Film Festival for her documentary debut Smoke Sauna Sisterhood (which focuses on women who come together in the protective darkness of the smoke sauna, an essential part of the Estonian cultural heritage). This multi-awarded film is the Estonian National Entry at the 96th Academy Awards and is nominated for the European Film Award in Best Documentary. 

Kle Savidge (UK) is a BAFTA-winning music supervisor who has also worked at the seminal indie label Creation Records. Her recent projects include House Of Gucci, My Policeman and Operation Mincemeat as well as the forthcoming North Star, starring Scarlett Johansson.

Rob Challice (UK), Senior Vice President at Wasserman Music, has over 40 years of experience in the live music industry. He is a co-founder of Coda Agency, whose London office is now part of the Wasserman Music Group. Acts represented by Rob include Beirut, Billy Bragg, Bon Iver, Charlotte Cardin, HAEVN,  Sturgill Simpson, Toro Y Moi and Warpaint.

Kristjan Järvi (EE), Founder and CEO of Sunbeam Production, is a conductor, producer, composer, arranger and entrepreneur. He has created orchestration for the current touring project of Brian Eno, called “SHIPS”. As a conductor, he is at home on the big international stages, directing classics from Wagner to Radiohead as well as his originals 

Elena Natale (EE), Founder of Club HALL, Estonia’s foremost clubbing institution. Recognised internationally for its curated artistry, HALL champions local talent and hosts international stars. Elena spearheads an international team of electronic music culture festival unda that debuts at the European Capital of Culture, Tartu 2024. She is also one of the founding members of the Estonian Nightlife Union, dedicated to representing local clubs and concert venues on a state level. 

Lilli Keh (FI), Co-founder & CEO of All Day Management, whose work with artists like Lxandra, F, Malla, and Slani emphasises value-driven decision-making and nurturing growth. Recognized as a ’20 under 30 Nordic Music Biz’ winner and ‘Manager of the Year’ in 2023, Lilli’s leadership and commitment to cultural diversification are making a positive impact in the industry.

Peiti Huang (TW), is an accomplished A&R professional and music project coordinator with a Master’s in Musicology from National Taipei Art University, Taiwan. Huang is serving as Head of the International Brand Innovation Operations Group at Wind Music and Programme Director for the World Music Festival in Taiwan. 

Sungchun Lee (KR), Chief Producer at SoundPuzzle. He is also the Secretary-General and Executive Director of Seoul Music Week, an international showcase festival and the producer of several festivals and music events in South Korea. 

Edison Prithiviraj (IN), Director of Unwind Center and the founder and director of Exodus, a prominent music and event management organisation in Chennai and Mumbai, renowned for orchestrating distinguished festivals Global Indie Festival, Mumbai Jazz Festival, and Madras Jazz Festival,

Juliana Voloz (EE). booking agent and artist manager whose agency JV-Promotion represents artists based on tradition yet crossing genres. She is also the founding member of the Association of Global Independent Music Agents. 


TMW 2024 takes place from 3rd to 7th April in the Estonian capital Tallinn. The TMW conference takes place on 5th and 6th April in the Nordic Hotel Forum. The TMW showcase festival takes place in various venues across Tallinn from 4th to 6th April.

TMW 2024 passes are on sale at the TMW webshop. PRO Pass for 175 euros (end price 225 euros) provides access to the TMW conference and DigiPRO platform as well as priority access to the music festival. The TMW PRO programme offers inspiration, practical activities and networking opportunities to over 1300 international music industry professionals, artists, entrepreneurs and policymakers.

Festival Pass that grants access to all the music festival events is available for the best price of 65 euros (end price 85 euros). 


About Tallinn Music Week

Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is one of the most acclaimed new music and city culture festivals and key networking events for music and creative industry professionals across Europe, held annually in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn since 2009. The festival consists of three main programme elements: music festival, conference and city festival. 

TMW 2023 is organised by Shiftworks with various partners and co-organisers. The conference programme is completed in collaboration with the national music industry development centre and export office Music Estonia.
