BORM BUBU EE
Seeing BORM BUBU live for the first time, it's almost impossible to predict what each song will bring. The listener is bombarded with information to a state of near ego death, only to realize they haven't moved from point "A" to point "B" but instead to "X" or "Y." BORM BUBU combines technical playing with memorable energy and soft heaviness. Genre-wise, it's a soup blending math rock, metal, jazz, shoegaze, and noise rock, along with elements from various other styles. The project began as Villem Eplik's solo venture. After releasing Code Brown, he was joined by Kiina (Zahir, Deathcats), Jakob (Jakob Juhkam), and Alex (Hukk, Deceitome) to form one of the most exciting bands in the Estonian underground. Together, they have shocked audiences in Estonian clubs, performed in crusty punk venues as well as open-minded cultural establishments, and opened for Monster Magnet. The band is currently working on their second album.
