Hojsak & Novosel are a duo that fuses Croatian traditional music, jazz, and classical influences to create a unique ethno-jazz sound. Tihomir Hojsak (double bass) and Filip Novosel (tambura, a traditional Croatian instrument) came together in 2016 to craft music deeply rooted in Croatian heritage. Over nine years, they have established themselves as some of Croatia's most prominent international artists. Their discography includes four studio albums and one live album, featuring collaborations and live performances with renowned artists such as Vlatko Stefanovski, Theodosii Spassov, Monika Leskovar, Ismail Lumanovski, and the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. Recognised as a Croatian cultural brand, Hojsak & Novosel have toured extensively across Europe, China, India, Canada, and the USA, with performances at prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center in Washington, Beijing's Palace of Culture, and Strasbourg's Council of Europe.
