Meteor Airlines is a Moroccan rock band from Tinghir, southeast Morocco, and winner of the Mediterranean region's Best Artistic Practice Award. Their sound ranges from acoustic melodies to heavier arrangements in a style they've dubbed Amazigh Rock – exploring Moroccan Amazigh history, values, customs, and contemporary global issues.The band performs in traditional Berber cloaks called azennar and writes lyrics in their native Tamazight language, reflecting their commitment to celebrating and preserving their heritage through music.
