Kadi Vija 3 is a Helsinki-based group whose music is full of joy and freedom to experiment with jazz improvisation and communication. Called a rare instrument, Kadi Vija's unique approach to singing and improvisation is influenced by instrumental jazz music, flowing thoughts, and abstraction. The group's instrumentation and Vija's compositions are reminiscent of the traditional wind trio format, where the human voice now interprets the melodies usually played by wind instruments, accompanied by double bass player Mikael Saastamoinen and drummer Ville Luukkonen.
