Estonian artist Monknash combines rhythmic power with emotional depth, creating dark, tense soundscapes that both release and draw in the listener. Performing as both a live artist and a DJ, she has established her presence on alternative stages, from her home scene to Berlin, Brussels, and Istanbul, and more recently in Detroit (USA) and at the Amsterdam Techno Sessions during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Her debut track "Skalapendra" was released on the Scottish label Still Distant Records as part of the compilation VA Dark To Black. Whilst primarily performing techno, Monknash also appears in diverse contexts, reflecting a fluid and fearless approach to sound going from ambient to punk. Her second track, "Denialism", appeared on the Dutch-released charity compilation Noise>Drones: Palestine Action Fundraiser.
