Tahkuranna-based DJ and I Land Sound festival organiser Taavet Bristol’s love affair with music began through his dad's Soviet-era S100 loudspeakers. It didn't take long before they first gathered at the iconic youth meet-up night 'Statement of the Basement' in 2001, where he brought along those same S100s and two Technics companions: a front-loading Technics SL-P202 CD player and a 1210MK2 turntable. From that event he caught two lifelong bugs—curating underground events and soundtracking them.

Recent examples besides the I Land Sound festival include the minimal music party series Sammal. He gave his finger to the pulse of minimal in Romania in 2019, and with that same hand he's now coming to TMW to twist some knobs.
