The BoondocksEE

Alternative, Indie, Post-punk, Rock

Since their humble beginnings in the small coastal town of Pärnu, The Boondocks have gone on to make a name for themselves with a catalogue that includes four acclaimed albums. Influenced by British guitar pop, post-punk and early R&B, The Boondocks are a multi-layered and nuanced affair. Estonia's Radio 2 has awarded them both Best New Artist (2016) and Album of the Year (2018). In 2017, the band was voted the audience's favourite at TMW, and in 2022, The Boondocks won the Rock Album of the Year title at the Estonian Music Awards for their Soup Can Pop Band (2021). The Boondocks show that there is a certain charm in finding sounds and ideas associated with the decades before our own. In 2024, they embark on a new musical journey inspired by Kate Bush and Neil Young. We will soon find out what they have found.
