TYSKUA

TYSK, a Ukrainian electronic project uniting musicians, photographers, and visual artists from Kharkiv and Lviv, builds creative bridges between these polar regions of Ukraine. Their sound reimagines British electronic music through the lens of Ukrainian electronic scene and recitative traditions, creating a melting pot of grime, breaks, and electro. The group has performed at numerous European festivals and clubs, including Brave! Festival, Outra Cene, Closer, and Circulation(S). Their audio-visual performance "Tysk.Experience," reflecting experiences during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, has toured across Europe. The name "tysk" means "pressure" in Ukrainian, reflecting the intensity of their sonic approach.
