TYSKUA

TYSK is a Ukrainian electronic band from Kharkiv that brings together musicians and visual artists who reinterpret broken electronic sound, multiplying it with references to the cultural code of the Ukrainian electronic scene and recitative. TYSK's sound is a melting pot of electro, grime, and breaks. Translated from Ukrainian, TYSK means "pressure", which truly reflects their live performances.

Over the past few years, TYSK has performed at many festivals and clubs (Brave! Factory, Outra Cene, Closer, Circulation(S), and Fitsroy), and has also created an audiovisual performance called Tysk.Dosvyd about the experience gained during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In 2023, TYSK founded the Centre for New Culture "Some People" in Kharkiv, the largest city in eastern Ukraine, 40 kilometres from the front line. In two years, a strong community has already been built around this club, and the team has organised showcases with important artists from the European electronic scene.
