Apply for the Telliskivi Creative City & Selektor Studio Award 2025

Telliskivi Creative City and Selektor Studio in collaboration with Tallinn Music Week (TMW), are once again giving out a unique Studio Award to an Estonian or international artist, interested in creating new music in Telliskivi Creative City, Tallinn.
The package includes:
– recording 3–4 tracks at Selektor Studio with producer and recording engineer Martin Laksberg;
– 1 rehearsal day before recording
– 2 full recording days at the studio;
– mixing and mastering of up to 3–4 tracks
Selektor Studio is a recording studio and a music house with attention to the curation of sounds and a selection of talent. Award-winning producers and project managers are at your service in Selektor Studio, ready to record anything up to a big band, sync existing songs from their catalogue or create bespoke music for your next audiovisual project. Selektor Studio is created in alliance with Funk Embassy. Working with creatives, brands and bands on projects with soul is their chosen path.
Martin Laksberg is a producer, songwriter, bass player and an educated recording engineer. While funk, soul and disco are at the centre of his output, he’s just as well-versed in broken beat, house and hip-hop.


Conditions for the offer:
– The opportunity to record and produce 3–4 tracks (worth 4000 euros) will be given to one of the artists, who performed at TMW 2025 to support their vision and ambitions.
– The recording will have to be made during 2025, dates mutually agreed.
– The offer includes studio work only, no travel or accommodation costs are included.

The jury for the application will consist of the representatives of: TMW, Music Estonia, Telliskivi Creative City and Selektor Studio.
Last year’s award winners were Lithuanian retro-futurists Superkoloritas who were selected from 33 artists who had applied to the competition and recorded their upcoming EP in Selektor Studio.
