Alexander Motovilov & Motovilov TrioEE

Motovilov Trio is led by composer and pianist Alexander Motovilov from Tartu, Estonia. Specialising in a fresh, song-forward take on neoclassicism, the ensemble brings melody to the forefront and frames it with spacious, modern harmony to leave a deep, memorable impression.

Alexander's piano miniatures and albums have surpassed 60 million streams across Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms, whilst his audience includes over 470,000 on Instagram and a YouTube channel with nearly 60,000 subscribers and over 18 million views. June 2025 brought his latest "The Encounter", on Andante Piano/Warner Classics—reflecting the tenderness and honesty at his sound's core.

On stage, Alexander is joined by Evgeny Pravilov (violin, Finland) and Daria Motovilova (viola, Estonia). Together they have performed in Berlin’s Passionskirche, Vienna’s Kaisersaal and Tallinn’s Town Hall.
