Almir & Daniel are a virtuosic accordion–violin duo blending Balkan roots with contemporary improvisation and a modern Nordic sensibility. Born in Bosnia and Serbia and now based in Norway, they create explosive energy, emotional depth, and vivid musical storytelling that transcends genre and geography. Their concerts move from fiery Balkan dances to lyrical Scandinavian soundscapes and playful improvisation, forming a living dialogue between tradition and innovation.

They have performed at major festivals such as WOMEX, EXIT, and Oslo World, and have collaborated with artists like Toumani Diabaté, Daniel Herskedal, and Silje Nergaard, as well as institutions including KORK and the National Theatre of Norway. Their acclaimed debut album Roots gained international recognition. In 2022 they received the YAM Award for Best Concert for Young Audiences, and in 2025 the UPBEAT Best New Talent Award. Their music is borderless, deeply human, and connects instantly with audiences.
