BADIL is a Moroccan desert psych rock band formed in Casablanca in 2022. Fusing Saharan rhythms with alternative rock and psychedelic textures, BADIL crafts a genre-defying sound rooted in tradition. Their hypnotic grooves, distorted guitars, and raw lyrics reflect a generation navigating identity, pressure, and change on the margins. Since their debut EP WEHID, BADIL has entered a bold new phase with STRESS (2025), an album exploring emotional survival in uncertain times. Known for immersive, high-energy performances, they've lit up stages at FIMU Belfort in France and L'Boulevard in Casablanca. BADIL isn't just a band; it's a counter-current, a sonic rebellion giving voice to those who refuse to conform.
